DSI Earns Prestigious USA Today Top Workplaces Award as One of the Top Midsize Companies in the Country

DSI continues to receive accolades as they have earned USA Today Top Workplaces Award. Out of 408 companies who qualified for this recognition, DSI was named as the 67th best place to work in the country. This puts them ahead of some well-known national brands, including Constant Contact, Gorilla Glue, and the Dallas Cowboys. At a more local level, DSI is the top midsize company with headquarters in the DFW area, and they are the 7th best midsize company headquartered in Texas. This is the first time DSI has received this national recognition, and it follows just a few months after their debut on The Dallas Morning News Top Workplaces DFW list. Both awards highlight DSI's commitment to its employees and a culture that supports internal growth and advancement.

"This is truly an honor, and we’re humbled to be considered one of the top workplaces in the country," said DSI President and CEO Doug Robison. "Our entire team, spread throughout the country, works hard every day and we pride ourselves on a company culture that supports and cares for all employees. DSI is a company people want to work for and that shows in our commitment to our partners and clients."

Originally founded as a small, family-run business in Des Moines, Iowa, DSI has grown over the past 42 years to become a nationwide company that is quickly closing in on 1,000 employees. DSI’s people-first approach has prioritized building systems to ensure a consistent experience and culture for every employee. In addition to developing employee recognition programs and resource groups, DSI recently invested in expanding its corporate training program. Fresh onboarding training and skills development workshops continue to improve professional development opportunities, career growth, and long-term employee success.

"We do everything we can from day one to make sure every employee immediately becomes part of the DSI family," DSI Sr. Director of Human Resource Tai Crutcher added. "Trust and consistency are key pillars of our work and are the main reasons why people want to stay here for a long time. This award is recognition of our programs and commitment to our employees' well-being. We know good employees make a good business, and we’re always looking to make the workplace even better, especially as we continue to grow and expand."

The top workplaces are determined by authentic employee feedback captured through a confidential survey conducted by Energage, the HR research and technology company behind the Top Workplace program since 2006. The results are calculated based on employee responses to statements about Workplace Experience Themes, which are proven indicators of high performance.
